Sketch Club EAST

Mark McDonnell formed this division where after lunch, Sketch Club EAST identifies a person of interest, usually for their unique or distinct characteristics too. The subject is briefly studied without drawing. Once back from lunch and back at the drawing board, the subject is drawn from memory. (Due to the sucess of The Sketch Club, this division was formed . . .thank you Marcelo, Steve, Marcos, and paved the way!)

I mostly remembered him as being a bit dazed...

Here's my interpretation of our mark for the day.
On the left is a small thumbnail of the character in question. And on the right, yeah that's Pedro!!!

Here's my version of the same guy! I think Dave and I captured his likeness. Looks like the same guy to me. I am amazed at how similar these memory drawings can sometimes be in likeness.

Well, here is the memory sketch from our Monday sketch club..... This guy was an obvious mark when I spotted him on the way of our goodfellas mentioned that maybe we should pick a theme this draw our mark as an animal,etc..I jumped @ the the first sketch is of the unsuspecting in his natural state, and the 2nd is how I see him....due to the prominent bags under his eyes and his unique handlebar mustache I immediately saw him for what he really is... an owl iganmus mexicanus....

Let the doodle dorks live on!!!!

Memory 1 Guy

First Offical Sketch Club EAST Posting

After finishing up for the lunch break, Patrick, Chad, and I started walking back to our cars. After a small deliberation, we chose a mark and headed back to the office. But before the first step hit the pavement, this beauty strolled into the sidewalk from a local ribs joint. There was no doubt, he was the real mark.
